Acetylcholine translocates into cytoplasm upon ATP stimulation. (A) LPS-primed peritoneal mouse macrophages from WT mice were stimulated by ATP for an indicated time. (B) LPS-primed peritoneal mouse macrophages from WT or a7 KO mice were stimulated by ATP for an indicated time. (C) LPS-primed peritoneal mouse macrophages from WT mice were stimulated by ATP in the presence of an indicated dose of 10 Panx or scramble peptides. Intracellular acetylcholine (Ach) levels were assessed using a choline/acetylcholine assay kit.
