Simvastatin and dLGG mediate formation of oxylipin mediators by regulation of MAPK-induced cLPA₂ activation and downstream signaling cascades. Free fatty acids are released and subsequently acted upon by various enzymes, LOX, COX, CYP450 and sEH.
