The differentiation of CD4⁺ and CD8⁺ T cells were induced by γδ T cells which phagocytosed L. monocytogenes. FCM analysis of intracellular IFN-γ expression in (A) CD4⁺ T cells and (B) CD8⁺ T cells after stimulation with PMA + Ion for two hours and blockage with BFA for four hours. After phagocytized L. monocytogenes, γδ T cells induced CD4⁺ T cells and CD8⁺ T cells to express IFN-γ at a high ratio of γδ T cells to responder cells.
