SDF-1α and CTCE inhibited thrombin-induced permeability in HMVECs. HMVECs were treated with thrombin (0.01 U), SDF-1α (250 ng/mL), CTCE (10 µg/mL) or a combination of thrombin with SDF-1α or CTCE. HMVEC permeability was determined by measuring electrical impedance using an ECIS system. Thrombin treated cells are significantly different (*p < 0.05) from control cells, and thrombin combined with SDF-1α or CTCE groups are significantly (#p < 0.05) different from thrombin group. Data were analyzed using repeated-measures ANOVA. N = 4–5 independent experiments.
