(A) Flow cytometry plots reporting IFNγ production by PBMCs from a representative B*2705 AS patient (Don 15.05) expanded in presence of pEBNA3A or pEBNA3C (14 d) and exposed to C1R.B*2705 transfectants pulsed with increasing concentrations of each peptide before intracellular staining. Numbers indicate the percentage of IFNγ-secreting CD8+ T cells. (B) Assessment of the cytolytic activity of representative pEBNA3A- and pEBNA3C-stimulated CTL lines from the same donor as in (A). C1R.B*2705 transfectants pre-pulsed with serial amounts of the indicated peptide were used as targets. E/T ratio was 20:1.
