Array of Treg-mediated immunosuppression. This demonstrates different mediators of Treg-mediated immunosuppression, which mainly includes IL-10, TGF-β and IL-35, consumption of IL-2, IL-4, IL-7 and IL-35, or release of perforins/granzymes. TGF-β also plays both offensive (immunosuppression) and defensive (Treg protection) roles as it suppress T-effector functions but protects Tregs from the surrounding inflammatory environment.
